Three Temples

We know that
prophetically that a Third Temple is to be rebuilt. Just as there are Three
Temples in our History, symbolically there are Three Types of Temples.
1. The Horizontal Material Temple
2. The Vertical Symbolic Spiritual
Temple
3. The Spiritual Bodily Temple that
Stand Between the Horizontal and Vertical Temples
For
thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy;
I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite
and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart
of the contrite ones. – Isa. 57:15
The Horizontal Material Temple
This is the
Mosaic Tabernacle and the Two and soon to be Third Temple in Jerusalem all
built with an Inner Court with its Laver and Brazen Altar. The Holy Place with
its Menorah, Altar of Incense, The Table of Showbread and finally the Most Holy
Place with the Ark of the Covenant where the Presence of the Almighty dwells.
The Vertical Symbolic Spiritual
Temple
This is the
Earth which symbolizes the Inner Court with the Seas as its Laver and the
Earths molten core as the Brazen Altar. They you have outer space with is the
Holy Place. The Table of Showbread is the stars which holds the elements of
life symbolizes the bread which is the staple of life. The sun is the Altar of
Incense and the Planets is like the branches on the Menorah. Beyond the known
Universe is the Holy of Holies where GOD dwells with His angels.
The Spiritual Bodily Temple that
Stand Between the Horizontal and Vertical Temples
“…know ye not that
your body is the temple…” – I Cor.
6:19
This is our
Body which is the Inner Court, our Soul which is the Holy Place and our Spirit
which is the Most Holy Place.
Within our
Body we have the bowels is the Inner Court which contain the Brazen Altar which
burns our food and the Laver where our water is. We read many times in the
Scriptures where the bowels symbolizes and represents our emotions.
Our heart is
the Holy Place where we commune with God and therein contains the Lamp our life,
the Altar of Incense the prayers we raise upon the heart and the table of
showbread where we feast, commune with GOD.
Our brain is
like the Holy of Holies where some say our spirit resides, a place where the
spirit and flesh somehow mysteriously connect. It is where the Third or
Prophetic Eye is. It is a place of Intimacy with the Creator.
Our Body the
Temple stands between the Horizontal and the Vertical Temple, in like manner
how Yeshua hung between heaven and earth on the cross.
The Temple
is whole of existence in macro and micro form from the Universe to the atoms
that make up our body of clay. All meant to give praise, glory and honor to God
and bring us into intimacy with Him.
