“That ‘Sinking’ Feeling”

Florida, New
York, all around the U.S. Caught on camera, dash cams and witnessed by many.
Everyone from the everyday Joe to construction workers to police officers, they
all have “fell” victim of that belly churning sinking feeling.
As I was
folding laundry fresh out of the dryer (Yes, I do laundry!) and listened to the
news, I heard of yet another person, a New York construction worker fall victim
to a sink hole. Just a few weeks prior to this incident a Florida man and his
house was swallowed by a sinkhole and was unable to be rescued. They just
bulldozed over the ruins and filled in the hole, not really knowing for sure if
the man was dead or not!
I heard the
LORD speak to my spirit and ask, “What am I trying to say?”
After I finished
folding the last article of clothing I made a beeline to my Bible and
Concordance and this is what I found:
And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the Lord hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind. If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the Lord hath not sent me. But if the Lord make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the Lord. And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them: And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation. And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also… And the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. This is that Dathan and Abiram, which were famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they strove against the Lord: And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died, what time the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men: and they became a sign. – Num. 16:28-34; 26:9-10
And what he did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of all Israel. – Deut. 11:6
The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan and covered the company of Abiram. – Psa. 106:17
The LORD used this fashion of punishment against those who dare rebel against His anointed and His Torah (Law/Instructions).
Since I only get U.S. and Canadian news media on T.V. I am not certain if this sinkhole phenomenon is only confined to North America or if other countries have experienced this too in great frequency in certain areas. Nonetheless I can only comment on that which has occurred in North America.
Seeing as the U.S. and Canada, founded on Judeo-Christian principles (ultimately based on Torah and Messiah; Written and Living Torah) and seeing as how these principles, with G-d’s anointed servants are being attacked from the President to the liberal left to the blasphemous corners of Hollywood, is it any wonder the earth is literally swallowing vehicles, houses and people!?
The Sky is Falling!
Then I began to think of all the meteors, asteroids, comets and their close calls and near misses of earth.
So, what is the LORD saying here?
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! – Isa. 14:12
And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. – Luke 10:18
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience. – Eph. 2:2
And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. – Rev. 8:11
Such heavenly signs such as comets and shooting stars have always been seen as bad omens of calamity to come and have been associated with plagues and outbreak of diseases.
Deuteronomy 28 speaks of such things falling upon Israel for turning away from God and His Torah.
But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee… The Lord shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it. The Lord shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish. And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron. The Lord shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed. The Lord shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. And thy carcase shall be meat unto all fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away. The Lord will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed… The Lord shall smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore botch that cannot be healed, from the sole of thy foot unto the top of thy head… Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee… If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, The Lord Thy God; Then the Lord will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed. – Deut. 28:15, 21-27, 35, 45, 58-61
June 30, 1908 a meteor crashed into what was then Tunguska Russia and caused massive devastation and seven years later WWI broke out on July 28, 1914. As a result.
Feb. 15, 2013, another meteor rocked Russia, blowing out windows and injuring people as it smacked into the ground. Seven years from now, will there be a Global conflict? Who knows, only time will tell? But there is no question in my mind that GOD Almighty is trying to send the world a wake-up call!
