“Today is forty-eight days which are six weeks and five days of the Omer.”

Theme of the Week: Malchut - Majesty
Theme of the Day: Yesod - Intimacy
Overall Theme: The Intimacy of His Majesty

It’s no coincidence that the overall theme is the Intimacy of His Majesty because it was today when YHWH told Moses to tell the Israel that they had three days to prepare to be intimate with Him. What happens before a date, wedding or anniversary? Hours of primping and preparation; bath, make-up, hair, clothes, etc. All in preparation for one type of intimacy or another. And ironically to become intimate with G-d they had to abstain from intimacy from their spouses.

Exodus 19:14-15 And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes. And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.

The Theme here is sanctification.

I John 1:7-9 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Psalm 148

1Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.
2Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
3Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.
4Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.
5Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.
6He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.
7Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:
8Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word:
9Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:
10Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:
11Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:
12Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
13Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.
14He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.

“Abba YHWH Elohim, clean, cleanse and purify me! Prepare me to come into Your Presence to intimately meet with You so You may tell me what You would have me to know and do. In Yeshua’s Name I pray, Ameyn.”
