·        Please pray that HaShem will give just the right words for Rabbi Yehudah to address and bring clarity to those Igbo caught up in the sacrificial cult of Awatasianism.
·        Please pray for healing of Rabbi Yehudah’s Nigerian host; Dr. Rabbi Michael Melek Ukahson who months ago severely injured his back in a traffic accident and has greatly been incapacitated since in that he has been unable to resume teaching classes at the Yeshiva (School) in order to train the leaders among the Igbo and Nigeria believers.
·        Please pray that Eze (King) Chukwuemeka-Eri to have wisdom, health and long life in order to unite and rule righteously the Igbo people, nationally and world wide.
·        Please pray that the Igbo will get governmental recognition and approval by Israel for them to make Aliyah as children of Gad and that the fact that they are believers in Messiah Yeshua will not hinder this.
·        Please pray that Sister Alice, who currently leads the little synagogue out in the Nigerian Bush will be able to find the right Rabbi to lead the congregation as well as secure the necessary building materials in order to withstand the rainy seasons.
·        Please pray that Prince Chinedu Eri will get the necessary paperwork, grants and funds secured to be able to come and study in Canada.
·        Please pray that Moriah bat Shofar from A.D. International who was invited by the Igbo’s to come and teach the believing women of the community, that she will be able to secure the means and funds to go to Nigeria and have a successful trip. She is slated to go after a few days after I come back from my trip to Nigeria.

A.D. International Africa branch and RICON (Redeemed Israel Community of Nigeria) have collectively asked prayer that:
·        They would be able to receive and obtain Sacred Name Bibles (ISR Scriptures, HRV, Complete Jewish Bible, Aramaic-English New Testament), All four volumes by Michael Brown’s, “Answering Jewish Objections to Jesus,” Tzitzit, Kippot, Tallit Gadolim, Tallit Katans, Mezuzot, Messianic and or Natsari books, Messianic prayer siddurim, Artscroll Siddurim, Messianic music and worship CD’s, Messianic and or Netzari Teaching DVD’s etc.
·        They would be able to establish Messianic/Natsari Yeshivas (schools) for children and adults alike.
·        They would be able to establish a regular radio and TV presence in Nigeria.
·        They would be able to send their most called and gifted members to study abroad and train for the Rabbinate so in turn they can return and teach and train up others.
·        They would be able to establish thriving businesses among themselves so they will be self sustaining and not reliant upon the finances of outsiders and so that they will be able to get Sabbath’s and High Holy Days off as they require.
·        That the Nigerian leaders and politicians of Nigeria will officially recognize as a legitimate religious movement of the Messianic/Natsarim with necessary rights and privileges.

Please pray for:
·        Dr. Rabbi Mikahel Melek Ukahson: This man, my gracious host, spearheads the Natsarim movement in Nigeria.
·        Dr. Daniel Orah: This is Dr. Ukahson’s right hand man who leads Beit Shalom Synagogue in Onitsha, Anambra State. He, along with many other leaders under him came out of Christianity and held such titles as Bishop and desire and they are awaiting training to become Natsari Rabbis in Nigeria.
·        Chazzan Avraham: This is a man who looks uncannily like the pop singer Seal, the guy who married super model Heidi Klum. Avraham is self taught in Hebrew and has been made the Chazzan. He is the one who trains young men and women for their bar/bat mitzvah. He is also the one on Sabbath chats the prayers and the Torah portions in Hebrew in a signature Hebraic cantillation but with an indigenous Nigerian flare.
·        Business Men: There is a group of Torah obedient business men who are trying to get together to first of all, learn how to conduct business according to the Torah and create jobs and businesses in AD International Africa and RICON so that the community can have their Sabbath and High Holy Days off.
·        Eze Chukwuemeka-Eri King of all the Igbo’s:  Will the have wisdom, health and long life in order to unite and rule righteously the Igbo people, nationally and world wide.
·        President Goodluck Jonathan: He is the son of an Ijaw man and an Igbo woman. He is a professing born again Pentecostal Christian and he came to office after the president died and was re-elected in April of 2011. Most of the people love and believe in him. There is much corruption in Nigeria so pray President Goodluck Jonathan will be incorruptible and make positive lasting changes in Nigeria.

I have been offered a temporary casual job at the local nursing home from June till August. Hopefully this will allow me to save up funds for my return trip to Nigeria this November. However, I still need the financial assistance of others to help make this trip possible. If you wish to help me fund this trip, it would be much appreciated. You would be actively participating in the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy in these last days in seeing a lost tribe of Israel come back into their own. Do not worry about the amount, every little bit helps! You can donate by finding the donation button on the home page of my website: www.adint-ministries.com
Or make checks or money orders payable to “Kris Shoemaker” and send it to:
PO BOX 763
Ft. Fairfield, ME. 04742
THANK YOU!!!
If just 100 people would give $30.00 I would have enough to cover my trip to Nigeria.
You can see photos of my trip to Nigeria, labeled “Nigeria 2010,” on my facebook profile:

Yeshua Son of Abraham, Son of David, Son of God, The Great I AM

Yeshua Son of Abraham, Son of David, Son of God, The Great I AM
Rabbi Yehudah ben Shomeyr

John 8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

What are the “works of Abraham”? What works was Yeshua referring to? Torah, God’s Word and His Expectations, His Law is eternal. So in one way Yeshua was speaking of the works of obeying the Torah. In Judaism and Islam Abraham is known for his legendary hospitality. Taking in strangers and travelers, giving them food, lodging and means to refresh themselves while he told them about the One True God.

Gen. 18:1-8 And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, And said, My LORD, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree: And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said. And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth. And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it. And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.

Abraham lived peaceably when he was a stranger himself in foreign lands among foreign peoples such as the Egyptians, the sons of Heth and so on.

He was brave and risked his life, limb and property in order to save his family (Gen. 14) even when they were living in a way that appeared as unrighteous. He even risks punishment of the Almighty in order to save innocent strangers (Gen. 18:16-33). He had love and compassion upon those who unfortunately got caught up in his own mistakes and failings (Gen. 21).

He was willing to do whatever it took to love, please and serve YHWH (Gen. 22). He didn’t look for fame, prestige or power.

Gen. 14:21-24 And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself. And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth, That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich: Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.

Abram was given life though the “hey” (h) added to his name to make Abraham; after which he was able to sire Isaac. So Abraham was all about life and the salvation and the sustaining of life and Yeshua pointed out that they (the Pharisees) were about the total opposite , which was death.

John 8:37-38, 40-41a, 42, 44 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father… But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father… Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me… Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Yeshua was speaking on the premise of the old adage, “Like father, like son,” or “He’s a chip off the old block.” Yeshua said to those particular Pharisees, that they in no way resembled their father Abraham but looked more like sons of Lucifer.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Yeshua gives a further description of the traits of the evil one.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Just like a husband noticing that his growing son looks more like the milkman than him, or better yet, a son due to his noticeably different characteristics asks his parents if he was adopted; Yeshua makes clear that these certain Pharisees looked nothing like Abraham who they proudly claimed was their father.

Yeshua later makes the contrast and imply that not only does he look more like Abraham than they do, but he resembles even more YHWH the Father of all Himself!

John 8:45a, 47-50 And because I tell you the truth… He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil? Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me. And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.

Yeshua points out the sin of their unfounded lashone hara (gossip/slander) which was being a half-breed son and being conceived in sin out of wedlock

John 8:41, 48 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God…Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?

He basically tells them that He is the emanation, the son of YHWH by saying that when they slander him they are actually offending His Father YHEH and that they are in danger of His wrath! What Father wouldn’t get mad if others claimed his son was an illegitimate bastard and the spawn of the devil himself!?

John 8:49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.

Yeshua goes further to stress that He is the Divine Messiah, the emanation if YHWH and therefore being figuratively a son by saying He personally knew Abraham who had long been physically dead and that He was an emanation of YHWH Himself by using His Personal Title, THE “I AM.”

John 8:52-58 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death. Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself? Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Ex. 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

How did Yeshua know Abraham personally before His birth on earth through Miriam (Mary)? As the Manifest Presence of YHWH Himself before Abraham (Gen. 18).

Gen. 18:1-3, 33 And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, And said, My LORD, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant… And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.

Yeshua is a true son of Abraham, a true Jew and the Divine Messiah, the Son of the Living God of Israel. There is no way around it. As C.S. Lewis once said; “He (Jesus/Yeshua) is either a liar, a lunatic or LORD.”

Black Verses Darkness

Black Verses Darkness
Rabbi Yehudah ben Shomeyr

Many people in the western world think that darkness and black is the same thing. Darkness is not black, just as brightness or light is not white. Black and white is deemed colors. Black is the presence of all color while white, ironically is the absence of all color. While on the other hand light and its spectrum is the presence of color and darkness is the absence of light and thus devoid of all color. Odd, isn’t it? So black cannot rightly represent or symbolize darkness and white cannot rightly symbolize light.

A rainbow has been the symbol of the covenant between God and man that He would never subject the earth or mankind to a world wide flood and white cannot represent such a good covenant because of the absence of color which the rainbow is. Light and the color black would best represent or symbolize such a covenant between God and man because both black and light contain the full spectrum of color which is a rainbow. I know this seems backwards and hard to grasp for us westerners who have been raised and taught that black is bad and good is white. We have seen this since the advent of silent film where the good cowboy wore white and the bad guys wore black.

With the erroneous assumption that darkness and the color black is synonymous and interchangeable as well as light and white; people have assigned spiritually false meanings to the colors black and white. While it is true darkness represent evil and even damnation (Matt. 8:12, 22:13, 24:51, 25:30, Luke 13:28) and light represents good and knowledge (Matt. 5:14, Luke 16:8, John 1:9, 13:19, 8:12, 11:5, 11:9, 12:46, II Cor. 4:4). Black does not represent sin, evil or even damnation and white does not represent goodness or purity. In fact it is quite the opposite. In ancient Biblical times white was seen not as purity but as contamination, uncleanness, corruption, disease and judgment. Black, brown, tan, red, yellow and “white” which isn’t even a true white but like a peach, apricot, sandy color, was considered good and a thing of beauty; they are the various skin tones of mankind which was made in the image of YHWH. Tzara’atz or leprosy was what color? White (Lev.13) and it shown highly contrasted upon the skin tone of everyone. This white coloration upon the flesh was considered and seen as blight and a curse. White even symbolized death, for the skin of a deceased person turned a chalky white upon death. This is due to the blood ceasing to flow and pooling at the bottom of the corpse. Ironically, what color does blood turn when it dries? Black. And the Torah tells us that blood is life (Lev. 17:11,14). Life is represented by light and the rainbow because of the color and the covenant of life which the rainbow represents. What do we say when we see one sick or scared, both of which is a negative thing? We say they are pail or “white as a sheet.”

This bigoted notion some may have unfortunately been exposed to as a child growing up in religious circles that Cain and Noah’s grandson of Canaan, the son of Hamm was cursed with blackness of skin is ignorant, uneducated and racist tommyrot. Adam and Eve and everyone till Noah were black. Because in order to have such diversity of skin tones which we have today, mankind fist had to have an abundance of melanin before there could be a lack of it. It is thought by some that Noah’s sons were born with various shades of skin. Hamm was black like his parents and his ancestors. Shem was dark tan and Japheth was the fairest out of his two brothers. This, coupled with the change in world climate and the population and migration to every corner of the globe, people developed diverse shades of skin dependant upon their ancestry and in order to adapt to the environment in which they settled. Notice how people living in hot and sunny climates have a darker skin tone whereas people who live in cooler and under mostly overcast skies are usually very fair completed.

Some people wonder how Hell can be a place of utter darkness when hell is supposed to be burning flames. Doesn’t a flame give off light!? There is a fire that burns invisibly and gives no light! In 1981 Indianapolis 500, Rick Mears and his chief mechanic caught fire by an invisible flame! It apparently is an alcohol based fire: http://sports.yahoo.com/nascar/blog/from_the_marbles/post/Invisible-fire-is-no-laughing-matter-so-stop-la?urn=nascar-282298

So remember, black is the presence of all color while darkness is the absence of it. While white is the absence of all color and light is the presence of it. Light and darkness are sort of like God in nature, in the fact that they cannot be truly represented or depicted by any physical thing. You cannot draw a picture of God just as you cannot truly and accurately depict light or darkness and have a proper representation of it.

Noah’s Blessing and Yeshua’s Prophecy

Noah’s Blessing and Yeshua’s Prophecy
Rabbi Yehudah ben Shomeyr

Matthew 8:5-8 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

This Roman Centurion, though occupying Capernaum due to his enlistment and rank in the Roman Army, was not an oppressor, but a person who held the Jewish People, but a person who help the Jewish People and their faith in reverence. He was not the type to “compel” a Jew to carry his gear a mile or two (Matt. 5:41).

Because of the parallel passage in Luke 7:1-10, it is very likely this high ranking and powerful Roman Centurion was not only generous to Israel through charitable means but possibly a Gentile looking into conversion. He was knowledgeable enough that he had to go through the proper channels in order to seek an audience with Rabbi Yeshua (Luke 7:3) as well as knowing, due to the possibility of becoming ritually unclean and causing a Jew not to be permitted to participate in worship at the Temple, the Roman Centurion would not allow Yeshua to come to his home despite Yeshua’s willingness to go. This showed that the Roman Centurion had great respect for and extensive knowledge on Jewish rituals and customs. These passages possibly hint that the Roma Centurion was on the path toward Torah Observance, but knew his home was not 100% kosher for a Jewish Rabbi to enter.

Matt. 8:9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

This verse shows this potential converts zealous and remarkable faith that few homegrown Jews have.

Matt. 8:10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

This passage shows Yeshua the Messiah affirming that Torah Obedience and the “Jewish Faith” is for Gentiles as well as Jews.

Matt. 8:11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

This verse remind me of Noah’s prophetic blessing concerning his sons (Gen. 9:27) Shem (Hebrews/Jews), Hamm (Gentiles of color) and Japheth (Gentiles of fair complexion). The verse (Gen. 9:27) tells us that Japheth will come to study with Shem and Hamm will assist Shem in teaching Torah.

Gen. 9:27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

Matt. 8:11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

East and west is used for two reasons.  First off, it is to imply a people without number. Why? Because you can measure north to south. You travel north long and far enough and eventually you will find yourself traveling south. But if you head in the direction of east or west, you will travel in that direction forever. Secondly it speaks of the Gentiles of the west, what would be considered the Roman and Greek Empire, and the east, implying the Middle Eastern and Asian cultures. North may have not been mentioned by the Messiah because people were not yet known to live much further north than they were in know to live in Yeshua’s time as well as west and east encompassed north if one were to sweep across the globe like a curtain. South was not mentioned probably because this spoke of Hamm serving Shem in the capacity of helping teach Japheth (Gentiles west and east).

The Israeli Patriarchs Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are mentioned to imply that the innumerable Gentiles of the west and east seek a Torah based faith. The Kingdom of Heaven implies the body of believers, both Jew and Gentile.

Matt. 8:12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

This mention of the “children of the kingdom” speaks of the children of Israel in Matthew 3:9

Matt. 3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

More specifically, because of the Assyrian Captivity of Israel this “children of the kingdom” was referring to the children of Judah, the children of David, the Jews who returned form the Babylonian Captivity. For by this time many of the lost tribes of Israel were considered “gentilized”.  (Matt. 3:9, 8:12) These are Jews who lack the type of faith of the Roman Centurion, but think they are “safe” because they are physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Judah.

John the Baptist said it before Yeshua did here in our focus text of Matthew 8; what the fate of such children of Abraham would be, them that remain unrepentant and faithless.

Matthew 3:7-10 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

John the Revelator listed what it will take to make it into the Lake of Fire and it was similar to that which was mentioned above; the fearful and unbelieving, which represents faithlessness (Rom. 14:23b) and the “unrepentant”. What follows is a litany of who will be in that Lake of Fire that is to come.

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Matt. 8:12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Outer darkness is what ignorance and rebellion attracts and deserves.

Matt. 8:13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

This mustard seed faith, this faith that could move mountains (Matt. 17:20) This faith that made Yeshua willing to become temporarily ritually unclean is what this Roman Centurion was praised for. It was the faith Yeshua’s own brother James mentions (James 1:5-6) that Yeshua praise this Roma Centurion for. It was the faith of the Roman Centurion that Yeshua hoped would provoke the “children of the kingdom” the unbelieving and unrepentant children of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Judah to jealousy (Rom. 10:19, 11:11) and repentance.
